Neuschwanstein / Alps

View of Neuschanstein castle from a distance. This was built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria around 1875 with money he got from Bismarck for agreeing to the unification of Germany.
He wanted a castle like those in the fairy tale books, and with new forms of concrete construction that became available in the 19th century, he could build it that way.
Chris tries to get all 3 to pose for a picture in front of castle.
The view downward from Neuschwanstein to the Hochschwangau castle built by King Ludwig I, the grandfather of King Ludwig II.
A view of the cloud covered Alps
Chris went hiking in the mountains overlooking Lenzerheide in Switzerland.
Andy thought he could run up the hill and got altitude sickness.
